1. Acceptance of these Terms
Information about the Promotion and how to participate forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, an entrant accepts these Terms and Conditions.
If there is any inconsistency between promotional material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions prevail to the extent permitted by law.
2. Promoter
The promoter is Go Unlimited Pty Ltd trading as Go Insurance (ABN 74 149 217 925; Australian Financial Services Licence 404782) of PO Box 5964, Brendale QLD 4500 (Promoter).
Promotion enquiries may be directed to marketing@goinsurance.com.au.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion opens at 12:00 am AEST on 17 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on 5 November 2026 (Promotion Period). A policy is entered according to the date and time recorded in the Promoter's policy administration system.
Entries received outside the Promotion Period are invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for delays outside its reasonable control, but this does not limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Eligible Customer Entrants
A person is eligible for the Customer Draw if, at the time the relevant policy is issued, the person: (a) is an Australian resident; (b) is aged 18 years or older; (c) is recorded as the policyholder for an Eligible Policy; and (d) is not excluded under clause 7 (Eligible Customer).
Where more than one person is insured under a policy, the entry belongs only to the person recorded as the policyholder in the Promoter's system. Other insured persons do not receive a separate entry unless they separately purchase an Eligible Policy in their own name.
5. Eligible Agent Entrants
A person is eligible for the Agent Draw if the person: (a) is an Australian resident aged 18 years or older; (b) is an individual travel agent or other authorised distributor registered with the Promoter under a unique agent identifier; (c) personally sells an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period and the sale is attributed to that identifier in the Promoter's system; and (d) is not excluded under clause 7 (Eligible Agent).
A sale credited only to an agency, office or shared identifier is not eligible unless the Promoter can verify the individual agent responsible for the sale before the draw.
An Eligible Agent may win no more than one Agent Prize. After an agent is drawn and verified as a winner, all of that agent's remaining entries will be removed from subsequent Agent Prize draws.
6. Eligible Policies and Entry
Eligible Policy means a new Go Insurance travel insurance policy that is issued during the Promotion Period, for which the required premium has been paid, and which has not been cancelled, voided, refunded or identified as fraudulent or otherwise invalid by the time eligibility is verified.
Unless the Promoter confirms otherwise in writing before the Promotion starts, policy renewals, policy amendments, extensions of cover, duplicated transactions, test policies, complimentary policies and policies issued without payment of the normal applicable premium are excluded.
Each Eligible Policy generates: (a) one entry for its Eligible Customer in the Customer Draw; and (b) if sold by an Eligible Agent, one entry for that Eligible Agent in the Agent Draw. Multiple Eligible Policies generate multiple entries, with each entry having an equal chance of winning in its relevant draw.
Entry is automatic. There is no separate entry fee. Policies must be offered at their ordinary applicable price; no additional amount may be charged for entry into the Promotion.
7. Excluded Entrants and Invalid Entries
Employees, officers and directors of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, and their Immediate Family members, are ineligible. Employees of a supplier or agency directly involved in administering or drawing the Promotion, and their Immediate Family members, are also ineligible. This exclusion does not apply to an Eligible Agent merely because the agent distributes Go Insurance products.
Immediate Family means a spouse, de facto partner, parent, step-parent, child, step-child, sibling or step-sibling, whether or not they live in the same household.
An entry is invalid if it is incomplete, incorrectly attributed, generated through manipulation or unauthorised use of a system, connected with a cancelled, voided, refunded, unpaid, duplicated, test or fraudulent policy, or otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of identity, age, residency, policy validity, agent attribution and compliance. Any decision to invalidate an entry must be based on reasonable grounds and supporting records.
8. Prizes
The Customer Draw prize is one cash prize of AUD $1,500 (Customer Prize).
The Agent Draw prizes are three cash prizes of AUD $500 each (Agent Prizes).
The total prize pool is AUD $3,000. Prizes are not transferable to another person. A winner is responsible for obtaining their own tax, financial or legal advice about the prize. The Promoter does not represent that a prize is free from tax or other consequences.
9. Draw
The draws will take place at 2PM AEST AEST on Monday 9th November at 27 South Pine Road, Brendale Q 4500. The Promoter will use a computerised random selection process from all valid entries in each draw pool.
The Customer Prize will be drawn from the Customer Draw pool. The three Agent Prizes will be drawn sequentially from the Agent Draw pool. The Promoter will also draw TWO reserve entries for each draw pool, in order, for use if an original winner is ineligible or a prize is dealt with as unclaimed in accordance with clause 12 and applicable law.
The first valid entry drawn for the Customer Draw will be the provisional Customer Prize winner. The first three valid, distinct Eligible Agents drawn for the Agent Draw will be the provisional Agent Prize winners. All winners are subject to verification.
10. Winner Notification and Publication
The Promoter will contact each provisional winner using the contact details held in its records within two business days after the draw. A provisional winner must provide the information reasonably requested to verify eligibility and facilitate payment.
The Promoter will publish the surname, first initial and State or Territory of residence of the Customer Prize winner at https://info.goinsurance.com.au/cruise-month-terms-and-conditions on Tuesday 10th November 2026.
Agent Prize winners will be announced through email communications and online at https://info.goinsurance.com.au/cruise-month-terms-and-conditions subject to applicable privacy requirements.
11. Payment of Prizes
A verified winner must nominate an Australian bank account held in the winner's name and provide accurate payment details through the secure method specified by the Promoter. The Promoter will not request banking passwords or security codes.
Subject to timely verification and receipt of correct bank details, the Promoter will transfer each prize by electronic funds transfer so that payment is initiated no later than 30 November 2026. Bank processing times are outside the Promoter's control.
If a winner has not completed verification or supplied correct bank details in time for payment by 30 November 2026, the prize will be retained and dealt with under clause 12 and applicable law. The Promoter will never require a winner to pay a fee to receive a prize.
12. Unclaimed Prizes and Redraws
The Promoter will take reasonable steps to identify and contact each provisional winner. A prize will not be forfeited or redrawn earlier than permitted by the laws applying in the winner's State or Territory.
If a provisional winner is found to be ineligible, the relevant prize will be awarded to the first valid reserve entry for that draw pool. If there is no valid reserve entry, the Promoter will conduct a further random draw.
If a prize remains unclaimed, it will be retained, redrawn, surrendered or otherwise dealt with in accordance with the law of the State or Territory applicable to the Promotion and, where required, only after regulator approval. Any redraw will occur at 2PM AEST on Monday 30th November 2026 at the same location as the original draw unless otherwise approved or notified.
Any redraw winner will be notified and published in the same manner as an original winner, as applicable, and paid as soon as reasonably practicable after verification.
13. Cancellation and Fraud
A policy that is cancelled, voided or refunded before eligibility is verified does not qualify as an Eligible Policy. This applies whether cancellation is initiated by the policyholder, the Promoter, an insurer or another authorised party, including during any cooling-off period.
If the Promoter reasonably suspects fraud, manipulation or other unlawful conduct, it may investigate and withhold verification while the investigation is underway. An entry may be invalidated only where the Promoter has reasonable grounds supported by available information. The Promoter may refer suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.
Cancellation or invalidation of an entry does not alter any statutory or contractual rights concerning the underlying insurance policy.
14. Privacy
The Promoter collects and uses personal information already provided in connection with the policy or agent relationship, and information supplied for prize verification and payment, to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, contact and announce winners, pay prizes, maintain required records and comply with law.
The Promoter may disclose relevant personal information to service providers assisting with the draw, verification, publication or payment; financial institutions; regulators; and other persons where required or authorised by law. The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy at https://goinsurance.com.au/privacy/ and applicable privacy laws.
Participation in the Promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive direct marketing. Existing communication preferences and any separately obtained marketing consents continue to apply.
15. Administration, Disruption and Changes
The Promoter may verify, audit and reconcile entries and correct genuine administrative errors, provided that doing so does not unfairly disadvantage entrants and remains consistent with applicable law.
If the Promotion cannot be conducted as planned because of fraud, tampering, technical failure, disaster, government action or another event beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may suspend, modify, cancel or recommence the Promotion only to the extent reasonably necessary and permitted by law, and after obtaining any required regulatory approval. Entrants will be notified of any material change through the same channels used to advertise the Promotion.
In Western Australia, terms for a promotion conducted by electronic media must be lodged before commencement and cannot be amended after commencement without prior written approval. Nothing in these Terms authorises a change contrary to that or another applicable requirement.
16. Liability and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for loss caused by an entrant providing incorrect contact or bank details, an entrant's failure to monitor communications, or a third-party banking delay. This clause does not apply to loss caused by the Promoter's negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct, or to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Records, Complaints and Governing Law
The Promoter will retain records of entries, the draw, verification, winner notification, publication and prize payment for at least the period required by applicable law. This includes a minimum of 12 months for Western Australian records and two years for Northern Territory records where those requirements apply.
Questions or complaints about the Promotion may be submitted to marketing@goinsurance.com.au. The Promoter will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. An entrant may also contact the relevant State or Territory regulator.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts. This does not exclude the operation of laws or the jurisdiction of courts or tribunals in another State or Territory that cannot lawfully be excluded.
